Breaking Ground: A New Playground for MARC Coming Soon!

Exciting news for the Midcoast Athletic and Recreation Complex (MARC) and the entire Brunswick Landing community! This spring, we’re breaking ground on a brand-new playground designed especially for children under five. It marks the next major step in Phase I of the MARC development, following the successful grand opening of Tier-1A this past summer.

A Playground for Our Youngest Community Members

The playground will sit near the back of the MARC site with a poured rubber surface surrounded by a fence, ensuring a safe outdoor space for young visitors to the Rec Center.. It will feature a sand box, play house, swings, and a climbing gym.

What’s Next?

Construction is expected to begin in late spring and wrap up by the end of June!

This playground will be an incredible asset for the more than 2,000 residents of Brunswick Landing, providing a safe, engaging and accessible space for young children to play and grow. We look forward to watching this project come to life and welcoming families to enjoy the new facility!
